Diamonds come naturally in every color of the rainbow. However, most people are looking for
diamonds in the white range, rated in the white range from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow).

A diamond’s clarity is determined by any external irregularities and the number of "inclusions" in the stone, that is, the imperfections created by nature. Diamonds were formed deep within the earth's core over 100 million years ago and brought to the surface by volcanic eruption.

Consequently, most diamonds contain some inclusions, formed during their crystallization process, but many are microscopic in nature and can be glimpsed only under powerful magnification. When inclusions do not interfere with the passage of light through the stone, they do not affect its beauty.

The clarity of a diamond is determined by the amount and location of flaws, or blemishes, in the diamond when viewed under 10 power (10x) magnification. Diamonds are rated in clarity from Flawless to Imperfect 3 (see chart below). We offer you diamonds from the Imperfect 3 grade through VVS1 and better.

Round Brilliant, Marquise, Pear, Princess, Oval, Heart, brilliancy from cutting and polishing the diamond facets to allow the maximum amount of light to enter through its top and be reflected and dispersed back through its top.

Any of the fancy shapes are a good choice for a woman who likes a classic look but wants something a little less traditional than the round brilliant. Oval, marquise and pear shapes are also popular styles for a woman with a small hand or short fingers, because the diamond's elongated shape will give her hand the illusion of length. Many times, designers will advise choosing a ring with a vertical or diagonal design that will be most flattering to a hand with short or average-length fingers.

For the romantic, however, nothing could be more perfect than a heart shape, signifying love and romance. This cut is simply a pear shape with a cleft at the top. Heart-shaped cuts differ according to the skill of the cutter. Look for a stone with an even shape and a well-defined outline.

The princess cut, a square with many sparkling facets, is one of the newest choices for a solitaire engagement ring, and is especially flattering to a hand with long fingers. Many times, a ring with a princess-cut center stone will be embellished with triangular stones at the sides.
